Ok starting a new job has been intresting!!! Lot’s of chatty ladies… I guess thats just in the female nature. I soon started finding myself falling into the trap. What was I thinking? Not even meaning to . People wanting my opinions was just too tempting.
Today I made it a point to start letting everyone know that I did not want to be apart of it!! I have to much to worry about at home LOL .
I hate to say it but I see it more and more everywhere I go !! I mean everywhere. Work, friends,my web site, church, family. Yes I said church. Just because we are Christians dosn’t make us perfect. We have all been guilty of it. (Just trying to paint a picture of how easy it is)
Why do we do it?Why do we pretend to like people and then treat them so poorly? I have seen so many people get their feelings hurt lately and I’m hoping with God’s help I can fight the temptation. Get rid of the clicks. We are all the same in God’s eyes ! No one is better than the other. We should be lifting each other up not tearing each other down.
I hope more people who find my blog will read this and really think about how they act around other people. If you stop and take a good look you may find that you didn’t even know you were doing it.
Proverbs 16:28:
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
Proverbs 20:19:
He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
1 Timothy 5:13:
And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
This will be a big step but I’m willing to take it will you ??

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
Thank you for all the prayers, cards and phone calls throughout this long process leading up to Daniel’s surgery. You don’t know how much it means to us. Each prayer, card and phone call is a ministry. You may not know that something so small could mean so much.
The uplifting words of encouragement are sometimes what keep this family together.
I have had a hard time adjusting from being a stay-at-home mom to working full-time and coming home to taking care of both Daniel’s needs and the children. It has been especially difficult now that Daniel has had surgery and is also doing physical therapy.
Each card, prayer and phone call is a reminder that God is still there and that he has not forgotten us. The meals we received this week were such a blessing. Monday was a bad day at work, Taylor missed the bus coming home and Daniel had his first day of therapy. Needless to say I was stressed out by the time I got home. Dinner was the last thing on my mind. Now there is a down side to this too—I’m going to have to keep up with you great cooks because my kids have been spoiled.
Not only has this been a blessing to our family but it has also been an eye-opening experience for Daniels parents. They can’t believe people would go out of their way to help each other as much as our church does. We keep praying that one day they will see the same need for the Lord that we do.
The other reason I am writing this letter is to tell everyone to not take your church family for granted. I feel like this is one of the many reasons that sets us apart from the world. It is so easy to let everything going on around you cloud your vision of what’s going on right here in our own church. We have many families going through different types of struggles. Some are big, some are small, and it only takes a second to ask how they are doing. I know this has made me more aware of what’s going on around me.
Now what can I say about pastor? We have defiantly kept him busy. I think I’m going to have to buy him a calendar just for our family. If it’s not Daniel, it’s my mom or one of the kids. I have been a member of this church for over 30 years. There have been ups and downs, friends have come and friends have gone. But one thing is for sure. I can tell you the Lord is working in this church and he has given us a wonderful pastor. If I’m not calling him, he’s calling me. When I come to church I know he can see me from down the hall. He always greets me with a big smile on his face and is asking me how everything is going. I know that I can call him at anytime with any problem. In fact it’s almost become a joke between us. As soon as I say “HEY PASTOR!” he says, “Oh no here comes trouble.” How many of you can joke with your pastor? How many of you have a personal relation ship with your pastor? I encourage you to get to know our pastor, not just a Sunday morning hello but on a personal level. You are really missing out on something special. I know this is the place God wants me and I am glad God has given me the pastor and church family I have.
If you don’t have a church home you don’t know what you’re missing!!

This week has been intresting. We are now back home and Daniel is recovering from surgery. It’s been a challenge to organize the kids getting home from school while daniel starts physical therapy and I’m working full time.
Our Church has been a BIG blessing!! They have sent cards, made phone calls and even brought meals over to us. The meals have been even a BIGGER blessing.
The first day taylor missed the bus and by the time we got home I didn’t even want to think about cooking dinner I was exhausted.
Daniel right now is just trying to cope with not being able to do anything for himself. He can’t even make lunch unless I put it in Tupperware and put it in a bag with handles because he cannot carry a plate on crutches!!!!
Oh my I cannot belive its almost 10:30 at night and I have to work tomorrow. I’ll try and write more later.
