Gossip is probably the worst in churches, because its done so subtly (have you noticed that prayer request time turns quickly into a gossip session, in the name of prayer?!) Anyway, I feel blessed though, to be going to a church, where the gossip seems to be minimal...I don't usually hang out with anybody long enough to find out at this point lol. I know that when I was working, gossip crept in, and would cause me to drift away from God pretty quick, its a weakness of mine (as with most women). Let me encourage you to keep up with making it clear to people that you don't want to be a part of it, or just walk away when it starts in. Keep praying, for with God, all things are possible, and He alone gives the strength to fight sin! Amen!
